- Cornwall Feis — Saturday March 20. All dancers who are ready are invited and encouraged to participate in this feis. Figures will most likely not be entered. If your teacher feels you are not prepared, they will let you know. Please print and fill out your form and you may bring it to class for Kathleen to drop off. Deadline for entries is March 15. Please have your entry to Kathleen by Thursday March 11. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: The organizers are looking for volunteers for 4 stages, awards, registration and runners. This time qualifies for high school volunteer hours. Hot lunch will be provided for full-day volunteers. A sign up sheet will be posted at the studio or you can email Christine Malik at cornwallfeis@gmail.com. Dancers can enter at www.efeis.com or you can print off the syllabus at http://eregistrar.wordpress.com and mail it in.
- RBS 10! Friday, April 9, practice and Saturday, April 10, show. Both the show and practice to take place at Sacred Heart High School in Stittsville, corner of Abbott and Shea Rd. Another newsletter with more details will follow shortly. Volunteers will also be needed for the Shoe: tickets, door, behind-the-scenes. Please let us know if you can help.
- New class! We will be offering a new Adult
class on Thursday nights at 8:15 p.m. at our Beaverbrook location
(Kanata) starting in January 2010. Irish dance is a great way to work
out and have fun at the same time! Please contact
us for more information.
- DOORWAY REMINDER, both locations. Please leave the doorway open for people to pass. Chairs will be out in the back hall, please leave them. It is a safety issue. People have a hard time passing that area and we have had several complaints. We don’t want to have to close the door, but we will if we find the dancers are distracted. We have always been proud to be the kind of studio with an open door policy.
- Visit www.northamericanfeiscommission.org/2010_Schedule.html

Trillium Academy of Irish Dance was founded in the year 2000 by
Kathleen Maher Coyle, TCRG and Patty Scanlon Fleury, TCRG, accredited
Irish Dance Teachers registered with the Irish Dancing Commission, An
Coimisiun le Rince Gaelacha, Dublin, Ireland.
With many years' experience as dancers and teachers, and after running
their own schools, they joined forces to better serve their dancers and
welcome new dancers into the world of Irish dance. Their dancers have
performed on Parliament Hill, at Canada Day Festivities, Ceili's, and many
other social events and festivals. They have also competed at the World
Championships, in many North American competitions and regional
championships with great success.
Trillium offers competitive and recreational classes for dancers at all
levels and all ages, children to adults. Classes are currently held in
three locations: 1550 Chatelain, 2nd floor, Ottawa; Beaverbrook
Community Centre, 2 Beaverbrook Road, Ottawa (Kanata), ON and
Our Lady of Victory Church, 490, rue Charles, Buckingham, QC.
