You girls did great!  The faces of those seniors were lit up. They 
loved it.  And Trillium Academy got mentioned on the radio this 
morning (St. Patrick's Day) for their two performances.

the orginisors of the feis N.S in Halifax and they said that the 
next feis they will be doing is in the summer of 2009 and the caps 
will be less than 300!!!

Trillium is an amazing school! When I first e-mails Patty for some
info after having to stop dancing for a few years due to ankle issues,
she was not only extremely friendly and prompt, but she also took me
right in, invited me to try classes for a few weeks and see how it
went! Whenever I wanted to pay her for the following term, so who said
come to another class, see how it feels :)  So far, so good! (yay for me!)

The other dancers are also very friendly, I overall absolutely love
the atmosphere that seems to reign at the studio. I've yet to meet
everyone, but... :)

Hi whoever is reading this...  The feis on the 9th was AWESOME!!!!!  
I thought it was way better organized and set up than the Vancouver 
ones!  I got a 2nd place medal in my treble jig and a 2nd place 
trophy in my jig!  My sister, Molly, got a 2nd place medal in her 
reel, a 2nd place trophy in her jig and a 3rd place medal in her 
treble jig.  Ok that's enough bragging...  can't wait to go to 
practise tomorrow, and Patty, I hope you get better soon...we miss 
you!!!

Hey everyone,
the feis was so fun yeserday and I placed in all of my solo dances 
accept for the set dance, I got a trophy for the treblejig and 5 
medles. I got: reel 2nd place, jig 6th place, slipjig 3rd place, 
singlejig 1st place, treblejig 3rd place, and hornpipe 1st,
it was my first time doing the novice hornpipe and singlejig in a 
competition and I was so excited when i looked at the scoreboard.

How is everyone doing?? I hope you guys are working your bums off for 
the ottawa feis!  If you're not then at least do it for me:)

I just wanted to say sorry guys for taking a break from dance... but 
I just can't take the stress in school and then dance on top of 
that.  I never actually knew how stressed I was until the many hard 
shoe mess ups at resent competitions and then the day of the 
Oreactus... i think that's how you spell it.. anywhoo,
I will be comming back in January because by then I know I will be 
able to try again in dance... just right now my marks have dropped 
and my studying is on the rocks.  I'm really sorry guys I just don't 
feel like right now I can contribute 100% to dance therefore I don't 
want to waist your time (Patty & Kathleen). I miss you guys lots!! 
But don't worry I might drop in here and there to dance with you guys 
again :)

off as I have had some serious health issues (as some of you know) and I have 
moved to a new apt and got a new job in my field that takes up most of my time.

Hey Everyone, 

I just wanted to say congrats to everyone not just 4 last weekends competitions 
but also for the whole year. We had some ups and downs this year .... and for 
hanna that was falling on her bum trying to do a double front click ....but that 
is just one of the many reasons why we all love you. 

Lisa and Jenny you two have improved sooooo much this year. I know sometimes 
it's hard to see past the pain and the stress and everything else but you two 
have pushed me to keep going and to try and work harder. So thank you for that. 
1, 2, 3, not last heheh 

Lastly, I can not even thank you two (patty and kathleen) enough for everything 
you have done for me over the many years.... patty I know ... way to many years! 
Thank you for pushing me when I didn't think that I had anything less and backing 
off a bit when you knew I really really didn't have anything left. hehe. 

and finally, if you want to know what my favorite part of the whole competition 
weekend was...... it was when u two (patty and kathleen) came over and gave 
jenny, lisa and I a pep talk and a kiss on both cheeks! I really felt that we 
were a team and more importantly that we were the best team out there!!!!! .... 
which we all know we all!!! hhehehehhehehe

Hello dear Patty and comapany!

'Tis Adrienne here, formerly of Cumbrae School of Dance and now of...the 
Kingston Irish Folk Club School of Irish dance?? Don't ask me how, but I seem to 
find myself teaching a group of children, and some adults too, and I'm not that 
even great of a dancer myself! Oh, and yes Patty, I did dance with Theresa for a 
while before it started to snow last winter and I couldn't get out there on my 
bike anymore. You don't have to be good to dance Irish in Kingston anyway - we 
mostly dance in pubs where people are drunk and don't care - but it's all fun. 

Your website is great by the way - the pictures are awesome. Is that Lana in 
purple in  Really Big Shoe III? And congratulations on the Highland Games - I 
planned to go out to them, but never made it. 

Say Hi to Lana and Mae and Flora for me (if they're still at Trillium that is),

Greetings from Nova Scotia. The Norrises(especially Hannah) have missed 
Irish dance class soooooo much that we had to e-mail you while we were on 
vacation. I must say that we simply adore the post on the birds and frogs and

Hi, Just got in from the Really Big Shoe IV and I must say I still have 
goosebumps from the show tonight.  Everyone was amazing, sexy sea captains, 
Dierdre, and all the cast were super.  Storm, you rocked and the fairies were

uh... so on saturday i went to the gammage theater to see ryan mccaffrey 
as the lead in riverdance..... then i went last night too and sat in the sixth 
row.... and its so cool, but afterwards, i MET HIM!!!! REALLY ! hes so cute in

Great Job on March Madness week everyone.  We're pleased with each and 
every show.  They went off with out a hitch, well maybe the odd headband flying 
off, but other than that, awesome.  Thanks to all the parents for driving, 
bringing snacks and drinks, helping me with Thomas, carrying the Kaboom - it's 
really heavy, and just supporting us.  All the seniors homes we visited 
appreciated it tremendously.  The children should be applauded over and over 
again for their patience, kindness and willingness to get up and perform.
